Welcome to Thread and Scissortail, Vanessa and Valeri's sewing shop! We are a mother/daughter team from Tulsa, Oklahoma with a passion for fabric and artful creation. We've been sewing together for over 30 years. Our mission with Thread and Scissortail is to offer high quality construction and unique expression for those people in the workforce that are dedicated to helping others. You are a special breed, and we would love to help you express your inner beauty, personality, humor and interests so that in turn, you can help put a smile on someone's face.
As individuals, we each bring something different to the table. Valeri is the romantic...bringing soft palettes and dreams of tea time and English gardens to the mix. Whimsy and cheerfulness are the name of the game. Vanessa brings the unusual and eclectic. A sci-fi nerd at heart and lover of mid century modern design, she can get weird if you let her! Girl Power, rockabilly, Star Wars and robots are a few of her favorite things. If you have a particular interest that is being overlooked she would love to hear your ideas.
Together, we strive for the highest standard of construction and want our customers to see the quality, time and loving attention to detail we hold to each product. It is truly a labor of love and we aim for 100% satisfaction.
