Thrive in Business was founded by Clare Griffiths, FRSA in 2018, when she became frustrated that she couldn’t find the right kind of business support and community she needed as a female solopreneur. As she couldn’t find what she wanted, she decided to create the solution herself!
Whilst there are some fantastic business support programmes for female founders who want to build a team and scale their businesses, there are very few initiatives for female solopreneurs who want to grow their own business in terms of revenue, but not in terms of staff, and who are happy to remain working for themselves as a company of one.
In response to this, Clare decided to fill that gap by delivering inspiring, informative and practical learning and networking opportunities for female solopreneurs who - she strongly believes - are underserved in the world of business support.
Over the last few years, Clare has developed a range of events (in-person and online) and practical learning tools for women in business.
The practical tools, templates and learning resources you find on our Etsy shop are all created by Clare Griffiths, Founder of Thrive in Business, and are informed by her expertise and experience as an entrepreneurship educator, innovation adviser and female founder.

5 out of 5 starsThese cards are a fantastic way to re-energise your business brain, and give you back that fire in your belly that made you start your idea in the first place. I intend to make these part of my daily routine, for life in general, and pick one to ponder on each day. For the IDEATE cards, there is some really useful and practical help in here. I’d recommend giving yourself time to really ponder each one, maybe have a brainstorm around it. The REFLECT cards help you analyse what might not be working, and are a firm-but-kind kick up the butt to improve. The DO cards serve as an excellent break from the usual “staring at a screen and trying to think of the next step”. I have also had fun with the RANDOM STIMULI! If you’re in the right mood, they can take you down rabbit holes of thought, and land in some fun places!
