I am a mother of 2 girls, 2 grandchildren and married to a wonderful man. I have been collecting and admiring vintage for 30 Years or so. Coming from a large poor family in a small rural town in Canada, we never really could afford anything new. So watching every penny was a habit and carried over into my adult life. Therefore, in the late 80's I had an antique and pre-owned brick & mortar shop for 8 years. A small shop but I loved buying & hunting for usual, unique and one of a kind pieces. Back in the day, purchasing pre-owned furniture of any kind was not the norm and no one really told anyone they purchased something used. We, my husband & I were way ahead of the game for recycling, long before Value Village, Goodwill and Salvation Army Thrift Shops. Now I have my Etsy Shop, once you get the bug of antiques and thrifting it stays with you, you just can't help yourself. ENJOY!
