Announcement    Hi there!

I make social justice tees and accessories.

5CAD from the sale of each BLM tee goes to a Black charity/cause/individual in need (past recipients include the Black Health Alliance and SOY Toronto’s Black Queer Youth Initiative).

Partial proceeds from the sale of all items will be donated to charities that help marginalised communities (e.g
Trans* Toolkits Toronto, PWA Toronto, etc).

The tees are done by hand (tie-dyeing and hand lettering or silkscreening or vinyl application). This means that there may be tiny imperfections or inconsistencies that do not mar or harm the overall quality of the garment.

Drop me a line, if you’re interested in a custom order!

I’m a Black woman making social justice merch!

Hi again! I’m an Afro-Guyanese immigrant to Canada. I moved here for university and stuck around after graduation.

After teaching in Japan for a few months, the pandemic forced me to return to Canada for what I thought was a short break. Clearly, we are in this for the long haul. I went back for an 11 month stint in Japan and now I am back for good.

I started making these tees because, being out of work, I couldn’t contribute to the cause financially as often as I’d like. Facing racism in Japan as well as here in Canada left an indelible mark and I needed to find a way to help the movement fighting for equity and dignity for Black folx and other BIPOC.

So, I hope you like my tees and wear them knowing you helped to make a difference!

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalised orders

I do some custom orders but I may refuse your request if it is beyond the scope of my resources.

Sizing details

I note the brand and size of each tee or tank on the listing so you can doublecheck that info online before ordering.

Returns and exchanges

Will only be accepted if the product is defective and was defective at the time of delivery. You must message me within a week of receiving the item in order to claim a return or exchange.

Pick-up option

You can choose to pick-up your order from me in Toronto rather than pay delivery. To do so, please DM me on Instagram. Or indicate pick up in a message and I will reimburse you for shipping when you come to pick-up. I am located in North York, Toronto.

Lettermail option for Canadian residents

If you’d like to save on shipping and are located within Canada, I can try to send most items via lettermail. It would bring shipping down to 8CAD, this includes packaging costs, etc. Please message me on Instagram if you would like to avail yourself of this option.

No tracking option for shipping to the US.

I can offer that at a reduced shipping rate of 12-20CAD, depending on the item and your location. Please message me on Instagram to arrange that.

Tie-dye FYI

- There may be some light fading after the first wash. Please wash in cold water and line dry or tumble dry low.

- Wash with like colours the first few times, as there may still be some colour leeching.

Care instructions

- Turn tees/sweaters/tanks/etc inside out before washing. This will ensure that the lettering/silkscreening/vinyl will rub against less items in the wash. This is key for extending the life of the item.

- Use cold water.

- Tumble dry low. If you can hang dry, even better.

- if you iron, turn tee inside out and if it is a vinyl tee, do not linger too long over the area that has the vinyl.

Listings FYI

Any accessories, additional clothing, books, etc used in the pics are for staging purposes only. They are not included in your purchase.
