This is a very cute needle minder, it holds a needle better on the back and front, if you're the kind of person who might accidentally bump the needle off, but it does work well. It doesn't nab my sewing scissors if they're in the same carrying bag together which I appreciate as it makes it easier to grab what I'm looking for. So it's a strong magnet but not so super strong such that I worry about it, which is a plus for me.
