Materials: Sapele

This pen is made from Sapele and was hand turned by me on a wood lathe. Once shaped it was sanded and finished with multiple coats of Danish Oil and then buffed and waxed. The metal parts are Satin. The ink comes in replaceable cartridges (Cross Style).

To lower the pen tip, turn the top of the pen body clockwise to the lower body. The retract the tip, turn the top counter-clockwise to the lower body.

To replace the ink cartridge, pull the top of the pen body straight up from the lower body. The cartridge can then be unscrewed and a replacement installed. Once a new cartridge has been screwed in simply push to top of the pen body back toward the lower body until it seats fully. Please note that this is a friction fit to keep the pen in one piece and may take a little effort to pull apart and push back together.

This pen will ship in a free velvet coated vinyl pouch to further protect the finish in shipment.

The original pen I ordered never arrived (USPS failed to deliver, matter of fact it went missing). Kyle was vigilant and noticed, thankfully, that the pen was 'missing'. Unfortunately USPS is notorious for lousy tracking so we agreed to give it a few days, however, the pen never surfaced. Kyle was amazing in providing options of which I decided to choose another pen. This second attempt was successful and arrived right before Christmas. And let me tell you the pen is gorgeous. I mean talk about craftsmanship, wow! Not only is the pen beautiful, but the customer service was the best I've ever received from any esty shop. So thank you Kyle for going above and beyond.
