100 Everglades Tomato Seeds

I am exactly half way between Ocala and Tampa. My Everglades grow year around. When its super cold I cover and protect from all frost. They also "Reseed" themselves. Its "like the bad Penny that keeps popping up" but in this case, its a great thing!" I haven't germinated seeds since the first year I started growing these little miracles.

*** I just let the babies drop on the soil and they do the rest. But in their "own Time."

The Everglades tomato is a true Florida native tomato that grows wild in the Everglades. This plant survives hot, humid, and dry conditions like a champ. Plants are low to the ground and sprawl horizontally very quickly. It does not require staking. I particularly love using this as a edible ground cover in spots of my garden that are bare or not being used.

Once established, they will reseed around your garden very easily. They ARE Prolific!!!

Please note, these seeds are so small so please just surface sow the seeds by gently pressing them into the soil.
These seeds require a consistent, optimal temperature range of 70 - 80 degrees F to germinate.**
