These were 4 live rooted plants so they did not fare the trip in the cardboard box too well. They are reviving now but it's taken a couple weeks. Probably no other way to handle such an item and its condition upon arrival, depending on how expeditiously it is shipped and how far the customer lives from the plant nursery.
