My story
Hi! My name is Megan. I’ve always loved creating things and coming up with little projects, even when I was about nine years old, I used to play “shop” at home and dream about making something of my own one day.
My slime journey began when I was 12 years old, in the summer of 2017 at my friend’s birthday party. She was making slime with shaving cream, and I remember wondering why she added it. She explained she was making something new and trendy called fluffy slime, and from that moment, I was hooked!
When I got home, I started researching everything I could about slime and discovered that people on YouTube and Instagram were actually selling it. That idea sparked something in me instantly.
That Christmas, I asked for slime supplies and received just enough to start experimenting. In January 2018, I created my first listings. Sales were slow at first, so I took a break and returned to it later that year. And again the next year. Then in 2020, everything changed, during lockdown, sales suddenly took off, and I couldn’t believe it was really happening.
That summer, when I was 14, I ran the whole business from my bedroom. Slime was everywhere. I worked all day, morning till night, mixing batches, packing orders, and learning how to manage everything at once. It was challenging, and at times overwhelming, but it taught me so much. It felt like a whole new life, and I loved it.
A year later, I was able to have a proper workshop built for the business, along with a large mixer for making bigger batches of slime (after burning through plenty of small ones!). It was an exciting step that made everything feel a bit more real.
In those early years, I spent so many nights brainstorming ideas, doodling designs, and filling pages of my notebook with potential slime names. The ideas felt endless, and every day brought something new to learn or improve.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve taken breaks here and there, but I always find myself coming back to this business. There’s a part of me that will always stay connected to it. A project I started at such a young age, built from pure excitement and creativity, feels like something that will stay with me forever.
Running a growing shop has come with plenty of ups and downs, but I’ve kept going. Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to perfecting my recipes, staying on top of trends, and selling slimes both online and in person at market stalls and school fairs.
Slime has become an art form for me. I love taking a new idea, developing it, and turning it into a satisfying sensory experience. I hope that passion shines through in every order, and that my story encourages others to explore their creativity too.
