The name almost wasn't 2ndstop. The original idea was 2nd2stop — as in, I'm the second to stop. No quitting. Not ever.

I started with a few classes, enough to fall in love with clay and realize I had so much more to learn. So I kept going — teaching myself, failing, rebuilding, and slowly finding my own voice in every piece I made. That drive to keep showing up is woven into everything that comes out of our small Los Angeles studio.

What we make is earthenware — warm, expressive, and very much alive. Something you can feel was made by hands that care. The speckled glazes, the slightly uneven edges, the way the color catches light differently depending on where you hold it — that's not a flaw. That's the point.

Our small team puts intention into every mug, yarn bowl, egg crate, and planter we send out. We want you to pick it up and feel it immediately: that this was made for you, that it belongs in your home, that nothing else quite like it exists.

Because it doesn't.
