Wir sind hauptsächlich in Home Decor und wir haben eine kleine Einheit am Stadtrand von Delhi, wo wir hauptsächlich handgefertigte Quilts herstellen. Wir sind auch in der Herstellung von Mandala Wandteppichen, Bettbezügen, Mandala Vorhängen, Mandala Taschen. Mandala Bodenkissenbezüge und Mandala Roundies . Für all diese Mandala-Artikel haben wir eine Verbindung mit der Druckerei, wo wir nur den bedruckten Stoff bestellen. All diese Druckarbeiten werden hauptsächlich von Hand entweder per Handsiebdruck oder Blockdruck durchgeführt. - Sobald wir den bedruckten Stoff aus der Mühle erhalten, machen wir die Nähte in unserer Einheit.
Im Falle von Quilts finalisiere ich das Design und die zu verwendenden Stoffe. Die meiste Zeit gehe ich selbst auf den Markt entlang des Sourcing-Mannes, um die wichtigsten Stoffe der oberen Schicht für die Quilts zu kaufen. Der Master plant dann die Produktion basierend auf dem Entwurf, der ihm gegeben wird. Er berechnet den Stoffverbrauch für das Rückenfutter, den Verbrauch für das Polyfill und den Verbrauch für andere zu verwendende Zierleisten wie Nähfäden und Stickfäden. Der Sourcing-Typ bekommt all dieses Rohmaterial. In der Zwischenzeit, wenn es sich um einen Patchwork-Quilt handelt, schließt der Meister das Schneiden der Patches ab, nachdem alle Nähte gemacht wurden, wird der Quilt den Damen zum Handsticken gegeben, nachdem die Stickerei abgeschlossen ist , ist der letzte Schritt das Befestigen der Paspel auf dem Quilt . Sobald der Quilt fertig ist, geht er zum Qualitätskontrolleur, der das Stück gründlich prüft und dann kommt es zur endgültigen Genehmigung zu mir. Sobald ich grünes Licht gebe, dann geht es an den Jungen, der für das Packen verantwortlich ist, und schließlich wird es dem Versandmann übergeben, um das Paket zu versenden.
We are mainly into Home Decor and we have a small unit on the outskirts of Delhi where we mainly manufacture handmade quilts . We are also into manufacturing Mandala wall tapestries , Duvet covers , Mandala curtains , Mandala Bags .Mandala Floor Cushion covers and Mandala Roundies . For all these mandala items , we have a tie up with the printing mill where we place an order for the printed fabric only . All this printing work is done by hand mainly either by Handscreen printing or Block Printing . - As soon as we receive the printed fabric from the mill , we do the stitching in our unit .
In case of Quilts , I finalise the design and the fabrics to be used . Most of the time i go the market myself along the sourcing guy to buy the main upper layer fabrics for the quilts . The Master then plans the production based on the design he is given . He calculates the fabric consumption for the back lining , consumption for the polyfill and consumption for other trims to be used like stitching threads and embroidery threads . The sourcing guy gets all this raw material . In the meanwhile if it is a patchwork quilt , master completes the cutting of the patches , after all the stitching has been done , the quilt is given to the ladies for hand embroidery , after the embroidery is complete , the last step is attaching the piping on the quilt . Once the quilt is ready , it goes to the quality controller who checks the piece thoroughly and then it comes to me for final approval . Once i give a go ahead , then it goes to the boy responsible for packing and finally it is handed over to the shipping guy to send the parcel .
