After years of working in aerospace, I realized that commuting and city life was not what I wanted out of life and that I needed to pursue this deep need to make the pretty visions that I see in my mind. I moved to a rural area, got ducks and bought the cheapest pottery wheel (It's still going strong three years later!). I spent six months trying to make something on the wheel and failing every single day; but, there is something about being able to make functional items that keeps me coming back. I am all self-taught; I have a Masters' degree, but when it comes to art, I can't follow a script. I am always working to discover my perfect style and I'm trying desperately to learn how to recreate the things I see in my mind. This is a long journey for me. Thank you for joining me on it! I want to my pieces to take your mind somewhere. I want them to make you think of your favorite book, your happy place or for them to be the little happy thing that helps get you through the day.
