Supporting theatre educators, professionals & students, one creative idea at a time
Hello, fellow theatre lover!
My name is Kelsey, and I’ve taught music & theatre for almost a decade to students of all ages & abilities. I support fine arts teachers with production resources to organize shows. Plus, I design original theatre gear & gifts for fine arts teachers, students, parents and professionals. Being a drama nerd is a niche lifestyle, with its own culture and jargon. I know because I am a die-hard thespian, too!
Theatre helped me heal. In middle school, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Rhabdomysocarcoma. I didn’t let treatment stop me from going to theatre rehearsals and singing solos at choir concerts.
With the help of my friends, family and teachers, I went on to become Valedictorian. I got a full ride to college and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree. My drama teachers, in particular, became my creative mentors. They challenged me to be vulnerable; to believe that my creativity was valuable at a time when I thought it was just straight-A’s that mattered.
I want to be the person that I needed when I was younger, the person I was lucky enough to have in so many forms. I know not everyone has that. I hope to help you be a guiding light for your mentees or to bring light to your tech week.
Together, we can bring joy to theatre educators, students & parents by showering them with love and offering practical support.
