Film runs at 24 frames per second. Each of those frames holds a single moment: a first flight, a ship leaving port, a street that no longer looks the way it did. Frame 24 Archival exists to bring those moments back onto walls.
Every image in the shop starts as a public-domain photograph from America's archives. From there, each one is hand-selected and restored: mounts, catalog numbers and film borders are removed, stereograph pairs are split into a single clean image, and each photograph is finished in black & white, sepia and color versions. Some images are enlarged with AI upscaling, and color versions of black & white originals are AI-colorized; each listing says when that applies.
Every download includes five frame ratios, so it fits standard frames from small prints up to large wall pieces.
