La ropa YONA comenzó como una idea para combinar mi amor por estar afuera con mi experiencia en arte / ropa. Después de vender nuestra tienda minorista local que creamos en Asheville NC, mis jugos creativos necesitaban una salida. Esta vez sin espacio comercial y diseñado específicamente para retribuir a una causa en la que creemos. Así que se creó la ropa YONA. Es una empresa de ropa deportiva que se concentra en camisetas con diseños de cadera divertidos y geniales, en camisetas súper suaves. El resultado es que el 20% de todas las ganancias regresan a Land Conservancies, por lo que cada vez que alguien compra cualquier producto, todos lo devolvemos. Nuestro objetivo es dar a la próxima generación más montañas, playas y tierras en general para usar y respetar.

Elegimos el nombre YONA, es la palabra Cherokee para Oso. Queríamos usar una vieja palabra nativa que representaba a un animal que necesita espacio, una criatura tranquila que es tranquila y estoica y solo quiere su espacio. En Carolina del Norte tenemos una enorme población de osos negros que deambula desde el océano hasta las montañas y de ahí es de donde proviene la ropa de YONA ...

Gracias por pensar en nosotros y tal vez comprar productos. Esté atento a más productos, pero tenga paciencia, ya que es un proceso largo. Eventualmente, en los próximos 12 meses haremos la transición a que todas las camisetas sean 100% algodón orgánico, con la más alta calidad y diseños súper geniales. También ofreceremos sombreros y pegatinas en el futuro.

YONA wear started as an Idea to combine my love for being outside with my art/apparel background. After selling our local retail store we created in Asheville NC, my creative juices needed an outlet. This time without retail space and designed specifically to give back to a cause we believe in. So YONA wear was created. It's a activewear company concentrating in tees with cool fun hip designs - on super soft tees. The kicker is 20% of all proceeds are going back to Land Conservancies - so every time someone buys any product we all give back. Our goal is to give the next generation more mountains, beaches, and land in general to use and respect.

We picked the name YONA - it is the Cherokee word for Bear. We wanted to use and old native word the represented an animal that needs space - a quiet creature that is quiet and stoic and just wants their space. In North Carolina we have a huge black bear population that roams from the Ocean to the Mountains and so that is where YONA wear comes from.....

Thanks for thinking of us and maybe purchasing out products. Be on the lookout for more products but be patient as its a long process. Eventually in the next 12 months we will transition to all tees being 100% organic cotton, with the highest quality and super cool designs. We will offer hats and stickers in the future too.
