Jennymoon Designs continues on
UPDATE : after an almost 3 year battle with stage four terminal cancer, my mother, Jennifer (jennymoon) passed away at home surrounded by loved ones. Her legacy will live through me, and through her business which I have been running since she was first diagnosed. My mom was and always will be my world. -Rhys
after getting my Cancer diagnosis and going through treatments that made me horribly ill , weak and dealing with side effects that effect me daily i needed something positive to focus on. in my pre cancer life i was a interior designer , store owner and floral arranger but all of that was out once i got sick . i couldnt commit to doing someones wedding 9 months out because i really didnt know where id be in 9 months ! and remodeling and redecorating someones flat in the city was way too physically draining for me . so instead of wallowing in self pity and going crazy not being able to be the productive person i had always been …i started this little Etsy store ! i have to admit , i didnt do much research as far as a store owner goes , i just knew i loved shopping on Etsy and the whole concept . so after a few tweaks and sticking to one thing i was on my way ! i started in my garage and after a few months i moved into my little wreath room in my finished basement .
ALL of my designs are just that …MY designs and i take great pride in that !! My design aesthetic is tasteful never tacky !! each wreath i make is made with love and the happiness in knowing it will ship somewhere i have most likely never been and that it will bring a smile to someones face. i use only top quality faux flowers and greens and i hand pick the sturdiest and thickest grapevines i can find .
these aren't just wreaths to me , they are little creations made from the heart to make your home more beautiful !
Every year i get stronger and my wreaths get better ! and no matter what i will never give up . I'm a survivor in more ways then one ! thank you for checking out my store , i hope you are inspired by my story and my designs . gratefully , jenny
