OddTogs started in 2009 after going back to school and learning how to pattern draft. We were pootling along, managing quite nicely, and then Star Wars happened and the business blew up! We offer high quality, custom fitted pieces that are patterned from scratch to your exact measurements. We don’t alter existing patterns or use store bought ones, we don’t do one size fits no one. Fit is our business!
Original Designs are a favourite of mine. I have designed costumes for small theatrical productions and music videos, worked as an on set costume designer for a web series and made some truly ridiculous pantomime outfits. I have recently acquired a high quality embroidery machine and am now taking commissions on this. This machine can embroider in metallic thread, something of a Holy Grail for me for many years, and the results are just stunning! Talk embroidery to me, please!
In 2019 we started OddTogs: On Demand. This is a bespoke fantasy wear line for the alternative and kink community. We design and create accessories and complete outfits for play and performance.
OddTogs creates cosplay, costume replicas and original designs for fashion and costume, usually with a geek theme.
