Locating and Downloading Files
A variety of file sizes are available for download after checkout (wait for a small link to go to your downloads to come up on the next page after checkout). Etsy also emails a download link after purchase.
If you have an Etsy account, you don't need the emailed link as your files are always available to download in the "Purchases" section of your account when you are signed in to Etsy on a laptop or tablet. Note that the Etsy app does not support downloads. To download to a phone, sign in to Etsy through a browser on your phone.
Customers checking out using Apple Pay with the private email setting have difficulty locating downloads as they will not be in their accounts. If possible, please avoid the private email setting.
How Do I Print?
Unless stated otherwise, you can print at home
If files are too big to print at home you can use any service such as:
∙ A copy center such as Staples, FedEx, etc.
∙ Photo lab such as Costco or Walgreens
∙ Online printing service such as VistaPrint.
Printing at Home
Heavyweight matte photo paper, fine art paper, ultra premium presentation paper (matte, not glossy) or a good quality heavy white premium card stock is recommended.
Photo printers or high quality color printers work best.
Some home document printers will print vertical lines on your image. These vertical lines and squares are not part of the original images.
Always check the image in print preview and it’s also a good idea to test print a fast draft in black and white to make sure there are no margin settings that might be off.
Make sure none of the printer ink - color or black - is low.
IMPORTANT TIP: In Print Setup, make sure “print actual size” or “print at 100%” are checked and “fit to page” is unchecked.
Set Paper & Image Size
Paper Size -
If your printer prints a variety of paper sizes, make sure you set it up for your desired paper size.
In most cases, you will print on 8.5” x 11” paper and use a ruler and craft knife to trim the picture to size.
Image Size -
Even though your paper is 8 .5” X 11” on many printers you will still need to select the image size from given options. If the image is 8” X 10” and you wish to print larger or smaller, choose an option within the appropriate aspect ratio (aspect ratios are in the image titles and explained further down in the facts). Please note that image quality can be compromised if blown up too big, so preview the image in the larger size first.
Refunds or Exchanges
Due to the nature of instant digital and printable templates, refunds/exchanges cannot be issued once the order has gone through.
