Wer steckt hinter Papeterre
Hello, I'm Simone.
Papeterre was born out of a very specific moment two years ago: I wanted to give a card as a gift – one that was truly beautiful. Simple, high-quality, and gave me a good feeling. No plastic wrapping, no cluttered design. I searched and searched – and simply couldn't find anything that truly inspired me.
So I started designing them myself.
What began as a small experiment is now my favorite side project. I sit at my desk here in Munich in the evenings, thinking about motifs and proportions – and I'm always delighted when a new card turns out exactly as I envisioned it.
Everything is printed on high-quality, finely textured paper that I have carefully selected myself. And because packaging is truly important to me, you'll find even more here: gift wrapping and office accessories made from regional grass paper – as well as Furoshiki, the Japanese art of wrapping, as a sustainable and beautiful alternative to classic gift wrap.

Hallo, ich bin Simone.
Papeterre ist vor zwei Jahren aus einem ganz konkreten Moment entstanden: Ich wollte eine Karte verschenken – eine, die wirklich schön ist. Schlicht, hochwertig, mit einem guten Gefühl. Ohne Plastikfolie, ohne überladenes Design. Ich habe gesucht und gesucht – und einfach nichts gefunden, das mich wirklich begeistert hat.
Also habe ich angefangen, sie selbst zu gestalten.
Was als kleines Experiment begann, ist heute mein liebstes Nebenprojekt. Ich sitze abends an meinem Schreibtisch hier in München, denke über Motive und Proportionen nach – und freue mich jedes Mal, wenn eine neue Karte so wird, wie ich sie mir vorgestellt habe.
Gedruckt wird auf hochwertigen Papieren mit feiner Struktur, die ich selbst sorgfältig ausgewählt habe. Und weil mir das Thema Verpackung wirklich am Herzen liegt, findest du bei mir noch mehr: Geschenkverpackungen und Büroaccessoires aus regionalem Graspapier – sowie Furoshiki, die japanische Kunst des Einwickelns als nachhaltige und wunderschöne Alternative zum klassischen Geschenkpapier.
