I started learning this craft at 11, guided by my grandmother and technical books, and later continued at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. What began as knitting for family and friends naturally grew into a brand once my early designs received such warm support. That encouragement pushed me to keep creating and expanding new collections.
I work only with premium natural fibers, mainly mohair-silk and alpaca-silk blends. I choose them for their elegant look, softness on the skin, and because they’re completely free of synthetic materials. The quality of the yarn is something you can truly feel in the final piece.
RDesignStore has since become a family-run craft. While I focus on design and communication, the whole process is supported by a dedicated team. Together, we make sure every order is handled carefully—from selecting the yarn to final checks and delivery.
Quality is always the top priority. Each item is carefully inspected for color, size, and finish before shipping. Since every body is different, I also pay special attention to sizing. Feedback is always welcome—it helps improve both the products and the process.

Care Guide for Mohair & Alpaca Sweaters
1. Washing
Method: Hand wash only, separately, in water max 30°C/86°F.
Detergent: Use a mild wool detergent (without enzymes optical brighteners).
Technique: Gently move the garment back and forth. Do not rub, scrub, or squeeze. Avoid soaking for long periods.
Rinsing: Rinse until the water is clear. Ensure the water temperature remains consistent during the process.
2. Excess Water Removal
Option A: Use a light centrifugation cycle (800 rpm) only if the machine starts without adding new water.
Option B: Place the sweater on a dry towel and gently press the water out. Never twist or wring the garment.

3. Drying
Placement: Lay the sweater flat on a horizontal surface (e.g., a drying rack or a warm floor) to maintain its shape.
Avoid: Do not hang to dry, do not tumble dry, and keep away from direct sunlight.
Airflow: Ensure good air circulation for a slow, natural drying process.
4. Ironing & Maintenance
Ironing: It is generally recommended to avoid ironing these delicate fibers. To remove wrinkles, use light steam or simply air the garment.
Tip: Often, airing the sweater outdoors is enough to refresh it, reducing the need for frequent washing.
