C’est inhérent à moi, le besoin de créer quelque chose de beau, d’envisager une peinture, une collection, un produit, un concept ou une idée et ensuite de trouver un moyen de lui donner vie pour que les autres puissent en profiter. C’est de la narration visuelle, et c’est ce que j’essaie de faire chaque fois que je prends mon stylo ou mon pinceau et que je commence à poser des lignes d’encre et des lavis d’aquarelle. L’artiste espère toujours que son travail résonnera et inspirera une expérience... celui qui est assez puissant pour que le spectateur se sente. C’est mon objectif, mon objectif principal et mon désir... créer d’une manière naturelle et fidèle à moi-même et qui améliore le monde qui m’entoure à travers un art magnifique et un design inspiré.
It's inherent in me, the need to create something beautiful, to envision a painting, collection, product, concept or idea and then to find a way to bring it to life so that others can enjoy it. It is visual storytelling, and it is what I try to do each time I pick up my pen or paintbrush and begin to lay down lines of ink and washes of watercolor. The artist always hopes that his or her work will resonate and inspire an experience…one that is powerful enough to make the viewer feel. That is my goal, my primary focus and desire… to create in a way that is natural and true to myself and yet also that enhances the world around me through beautiful art and inspired design.
