Being a passionate dreamer is not always that common. Being able to dream awake for any reason, even on rainy days, running through a park hopping around, giggling, reading a book, and getting excited, going on a trip eager to discover every little detail, continue to be a girl (a big one)…
Being a passionate dreamer is not always that common, although for a few people, just like it is for me, it is a way of being and a life that makes us happy.
Would you like to know my story?
As you already know, my name is Elisabete. I was born on a cold winter’s afternoon, one of those that have almost a nostalgic air to them. Maybe that's why I love so much that tender and romantic air you feel when you sit in front of the fireplace on a rainy day with a blanket, enjoying the sound of the firewood crackling in the flames, whilst a soft sensation sweeps over you. This feeling provides us with the simplest things.
In 2014 I found polymer clay and I fell in love with it. It took me a long time until I learn how to work with it. I saw many tutorials… made many experiences and started by creating handmade jewelry. In 2015 I found my true vocation and started the Sweet Friends project. One day my daughter, my biggest fan and the quality controller said to me: “Mamy, why don’t you try to create a pony? You know that they are my favorite animals! ”In the beginning, I felt a little afraid, I didn't want to disappoint her, but then I decided to give it a try. During 2015 I developed my own design and new ideas seem to bloom in my mind like flowers on springtime. I’m very grateful for all the love and support I’ve been receiving from all the persons that follow my work.
Would you like to know my secrets?
A lot of things inspire and excite me, such as a tender look of an animal, going on a trip to a place full of history, and seeing beautiful landscapes full of tenderness.
When I was a child, I spent my holidays drawing, painting, and making doll dresses. Yes… art has always been my passion! I’ve never considered myself a genius, but I always worked very hard to achieve my goals.
I feel that my mission in life is to give peace to those who follow me, to bring you closer to the magical world of dreams in which I live, and pass on beautiful feelings to you. Remember that it is better to live life calmly and enjoy the tiny details of each moment, knowing that something magical might happen at any time.
