Founder Stacee Gillelen was born and raised in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, surrounded by creative, strong women. After leaving a career in banking to stay at home with her children, she was excited for a new chapter. While pursuing a degree in social work, a simple craft project with her daughters changed everything! Stacee fell in love with the art of jewelry making, and launched Dragonfly Designs from her dining room table in 2005. Becoming an entrepreneur was never her intention, but the joy of connecting adults and children to their inner artist has fueled her passion to keep going and innovating as an owner. Stacee’s four children have all grown up in the business and are valuable contributors and amazing artists in their own right. Her husband has been with her every step of the way, offering his steadfast support through the hills and valleys of running a small business.
