👣 Welkom!
Wij zijn Uğur en Gülçin, twee broers die geloven in vakmanschap en eenvoud. We namen het citaat van Ludwig Mies van der Rohe "Less is more" als leidraad en richtten Yakut op om het familie-erfgoed van traditioneel schoenmaken levend te houden. Elk paar schoenen dat we produceren is een ode aan de natuur, de geschiedenis en de vrije geest van het wandelen.
Wij ontwerpen en produceren minimalistische blotevoetenschoenen met uitsluitend natuurlijke materialen. Onze schoenen zijn ademend, chemicaliënvrij en ontworpen om je voeten hun natuurlijke vrijheid terug te geven.
🍃 Wat maakt ons anders?
We komen uit een werkplaats, niet uit een fabriek. Elke stap in het proces wordt met zorg en aandacht door echte handen gemaakt. Elke steek vertelt een verhaal, elke zool heeft een doel. Geïnspireerd door het idee dat minder meer is, creëren we eenvoudige maar betekenisvolle ontwerpen.

MINIMALE STIJL;
✔ Wij hebben mallen gemaakt die passen bij de natuurlijke vorm van uw voet.
✔ We hebben een minimalistisch visueel model ontworpen dat uit een minimaal aantal onderdelen bestaat.
✔ Wij hebben de hoogste kwaliteit duurzame materialen samengebracht.

✔ Onze werkplaats bevindt zich in een regio waar de schoenenindustrie zich ontwikkelt.
✔ Onze regio biedt minimale logistieke kosten voor de levering van materialen.
✔ Dankzij de regionale ligging van onze werkplaats blijven de voorraadkosten minimaal.
MINIMALE MILIEU-IMPACT;
✔ Wij werken samen met leerfabrikanten met het LWG (Leather Working Group) GOLD-certificaat.
✔ LWG (Leather Working Group) is een non-profitorganisatie met meerdere partners die verantwoordelijk is voor 's werelds toonaangevende milieucertificering voor de leerverwerkende industrie.
MINIMAAL PRODUCTIEPROCES;
✔Wij onderschrijven geen kosten die geen waarde toevoegen aan het product.
✔We hebben het visuele model ontworpen met een minimale hoeveelheid materiaalverspilling.
✔ Wij maken modellen die gemakkelijk en snel te maken zijn
MINIMAAL VERPAKKING- EN VERZENDPROCES;
✔ Wij gebruiken geen verpakkingen die extra kosten met zich meebrengen voor de verpakking van de producten.
✔ Wij werken samen met milieuvriendelijke vrachtbedrijven tijdens het vrachtproces.
✔ Wij werken samen met de snelste en goedkoopste transportbedrijven.

✔ Wanneer u een paar schoenen koopt bij het Ruby atelier, betaalt u slechts voor één paar.
✔ U betaalt niet voor input die geen waarde toevoegt aan uw schoenen.

We are Uğur and Gülçin, two brothers who believe in craftsmanship and simplicity. We took Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's quote “Less is more” as a guiding principle and founded Yakut to keep the family heritage of traditional shoemaking alive. Each pair of shoes we produce is an ode to nature, history and the free spirit of walking.
We design and manufacture minimalist barefoot shoes using only natural materials. Our shoes are breathable, chemical-free and designed to return your feet to their natural freedom.
