I haven’t hammered anything yet, but the part itself seems well made. I took off one-star because of the shims and lack of instructions. I had to backtrack to the etsy listing to find the youtube installation link. Once I watched the video, I realized the shims I was sent (.5 and .2) were different sizes than the ones in the video (.3 and .2). I’m having a little difficulty dialing in the shims and tightness of the driver and can opener and now I don’t know if I was sent the wrong sizes or if the shim recommendations have evolved since the video was made. It would have been nice to have some printed instructions with a zoomed in picture of the install area and arrows pointing to recommend shim locations with a “0.2 here” or something similar.

I love this mod. using any 1/4 inch bit is great instead of being stuck to flat bits or carrying another adapter. finish is a nice matte look, however I think im gonna polish the sides that contact the pivots and springs to make it smoother.

outstanding modification! Took some work to get the shims and screws in but just used a tool to line everything up. Can't wait to give something a piece of my mind with it!
