After my first zine that featured photos taken with a Hasselblad Xpan all over the world, this is my second publication and I can't wait to share this with all of you. Earlier this year I went to Cairo and I took with me a Leica M6 with a 28mm lens and 28 rolls of Kodak Vision 3 200t film. The film was developed and scanned by Silbersalz 35 in Germany.

What is so special about this zine is the fact, that I went there with the idea in mind to come up with a body of work and turn that into a zine. For 9 days I did nothing else then go out and shoot all day long. It was total chaos and on the first day my camera broke but somehow I made it work and I am so happy with the way it all turned out. :)

28 is a beautifully crafted and designed photo-book, the art within is gorgeous; the layout is beautiful too: it gets right to the point and facilitates the journey through this unique place without any distractions. Unfortunately, it sustained water damage it transit and was ruined - all pages stuck together. An apology from the USPS was included, but that doesn't really help. I am updating my rating. The damaged magazine was in no way a fault of the seller. The couple of photos I could see are terrific.
