Individual portrait in pastel according to a photo template. I use Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper (or board for large formats), which has a velvety surface and is coated with a mixture of velvet and pumice. I also like to fulfill wishes for a different format.

My service includes:

Why pastel? Because pastels are made from very high-quality pigments. They are lightfast, the colors last for many centuries, because unlike oil paintings they do not yellow (The Chocolate Girl from 1774/45 in the Gallery of the Old Masters, for example, is a pastel painting).
Pastel paintings must be framed behind glass. It is worthwhile to contact an expert frame manufacturer who will advise you on the selection. By arrangement, I also take care of a suitable framing. Accordingly, there are additional costs for the passe-partout and the frame.

A selection of several photos is very helpful and I am happy to advise which image is particularly suitable for a painterly implementation. A high-resolution photo is good, but not mandatory. I can also get good results from snapshots. Also helpful is a photo of the room in which the picture should hang later. It gives me an impression of the style in which the room is furnished and helps me decide which colors should appear in the picture. A description of the animal, something about the personality, and a shared history help me to 'empathize' with my model. Sometimes portraits last a little longer than expected. Art is a very subjective matter and sometimes it can be difficult to calculate exactly how long it will take me for a piece. Quality and customer satisfaction are my top priorities.
