The instructions are clear and very, very thorough with photos and illustrations. I've never seen a pattern with so much information about how to follow it--it will be incredibly valuable to a beginner sewist, while still being helpful to an experienced one as well who wants information about how the historical garment was constructed and what materials to use to be accurate.
