Board With Coasters is our little woodworking project with a big purpose: every dollar of profit goes straight to charities and causes that matter.

We’re starting small, learning as we go, and building something meaningful one handmade piece at a time — coasters, cutting boards, and more to come.

We cover the costs of materials (wood, glue, finishes, etc.), and everything else is donated to worthy causes.

This seller was so easy to work with. The customer service was exceptional. I love the cutting board! It is very sturdy and made with high quality pieces and nice touches like the non skid feet. I also love the way the pattern is laid out and how attractive the stain and colors are. It is also commendable that all proceeds go to charity. Thank you!

Thoughtful Woodcraft, Crafted to Give Back.

A simple retirement hobby committed to supporting charities and humanitarian efforts

After retiring, I started building toys for my granddaughters and friends—simple projects at first, then gradually larger ones. Before long, that hobby grew into crafting furniture, artisanal cutting boards, and colorful end‑grain coasters for the people I care about.

Their reactions were always the same: big smiles, genuine surprise, and the familiar refrain, “You should sell this… You could make extra money!”
But for me, turning a hobby into a business never felt quite right. What did feel right was using this craft to give back. That’s why I created this store.

All profits—after basic operating costs—are donated to charities doing meaningful, life‑changing work, including Second Harvest Food Bank, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation, the American Red Cross, and others close to my heart.

Every purchase supports both a handmade creation and a worthy cause. Thank you for being part of that.
