Botene' ist für mich etwas ganz Besonderes.

Botene' ist eine Boutique der Liebe für verschiedene Kulturen, Farben, Druck und Stil." tene' ausgesprochen "tanAY" bedeutet in einem afrikanischen Dialekt "Liebe". Ich wollte schon immer meine Liebe zu Stoffen, Texturen, Farben und Drucken kombinieren, um ein "Bo"utique zu eröffnen. Und so wurde " botene" geboren.

Ich habe Botene' nach meiner Reise nach Griechenland gegründet. Ich war sehr inspiriert von ihrer Kultur, dem tollen Essen und der wunderschönen Landschaft. Ich war überrascht von der Art und Weise, wie Santorini ganz einheitlich blau und weiß gestrichen war, inspiriert von dem wunderschönen Ozean um ihn herum. Als ich nach Hause kam, bemerkte ich Menschen um mich herum aus der ganzen Welt, die versuchten, sich anzupassen, immer noch ihre einzigartige Kultur in sich zu halten und wie sie dadurch inspiriert und vom Rest getrennt wurden.

Alle Stoffe werden auf der ganzen Welt bezogen, einschließlich Indien, Japan und den USA. Sie werden von mir individuell handverlesen und jeder von ihnen hat seine eigene einzigartige Geschichte und Inspiration. Diese Ärmel werden in Botenes Studio in der Innenstadt von Chicago handgefertigt. Wir verwenden hochwertigen Schaumstoff und Futtermaterial, um den Laptops / E-Readern zusätzliche Sicherheit zu bieten.

Botene’ is very special to me.

Botene' is a boutique of love for different cultures, colors, print and style." tene' " pronounced "tanAY" means "love" in an african dialect. I always wanted to combine my love for fabrics, texture, colors and prints to open a “Bo”utique. And thus was born " botene' ".

I started Botene’ after my travel to Greece. I was very inspired by their culture, great food and beautiful scenery. I was surprised by the way Santorini was all painted uniform blue and white, inspired by the beautiful ocean around it. When I got back home, I begin to notice people around me from all over the world trying to fit in, still holding their unique culture within and how that inspired and separated them from the rest. Hence, Botene’ came to life.

All the fabrics are sourced around the world including India, Japan and US. They are individually handpicked by me and each of them has their own unique story and inspiration. These sleeves are handmade in Botene’s studio in downtown Chicago. We use high quality foam and lining material to provide extra security to the laptops/e-readers.
