b diseños cuadrados... cómo empezó todo
b squared designs... how it all began
Llevo unos 15 años haciendo diseño gráfico. Me encanta la computadora y todo lo que me permite hacer. Comencé esta tienda de Etsy en abril por dos razones. Uno fue que mi blog estaba empezando a hacer que la gente me pidiera mis diseños, y el segundo fue que una buena amiga comenzó a pedirme decoraciones para las fiestas de sus hijos y mencionó cómo solía sacarlos de etsy. Y eso hizo que las ruedas se agitaran y pensé, diablos, también podría comenzar una tienda de etsy. Me había estado conteniendo desde que había visto a todos los otros diseñadores allí y pensé, ¿cómo me harían notar? Pero he estado recibiendo pedidos, así que debo estar haciendo algo bien (¡o etsy está anunciando bien mis cosas!).
Realmente me gustaría tener más tiempo para crear más diseños, pero con 2 niños, no quiero quitarles mucho tiempo. Así que poco a poco voy a construir mi tienda. Tengo algunas ideas geniales y solo tengo que hacerlas. También recibo muchas ideas geniales de mis clientes.
Me encanta poder trabajar con los clientes para darles exactamente lo que quieren. ¡Es muy satisfactorio tener un cliente feliz!
Y poder hacer mis propios diseños es pura dicha. Esta fue una de las mejores cosas que he hecho por mí mismo en mucho tiempo. Me permite expresarme creativamente. ¡Gracias ETSY! ¡Gracias clientes!
Si te preguntas de dónde saqué el nombre de mi empresa, tengo 2 bulldogs franceses, Brie y Brutus. Y sabía que las cosas cambiarían cuando tuviera hijos, así que quería hacer algo que siempre me recordara a ellos porque son los mejores perros de la historia.
I have been doing graphic design for about 15 years. I love the computer and everything it allows me to do. I started this Etsy store in April for two reason. One was my blog was starting to get people asking me for my designs, and the second was a good friend started asking me for decorations for her kids parties and mentioned how she would usually get them off etsy. And that got the wheels churning and I thought, heck, might as well start an etsy store. I had been holding back since I had seen all the other designers on there and thought, how would I ever get noticed? But I have been getting orders so I must be doing something right (or etsy is advertising my stuff well!).
I would really like to have more time to create more designs, but with 2 kids, I don't want to take tons of time away from them. So I am slowly going to build up my store. I have some great ideas and just have to get them done. I also get a lot of great ideas from my customers.
I love being able to work with customers to give them exactly what they want. It is so satisfying to have a happy customer!
And to be able to do my own designs is pure bliss. This was one of the best things I have done for myself in awhile. It lets me express myself creatively. Thank you ETSY! Thank you customers!
If your wondering where I got the name of my company, I have 2 french bulldogs, Brie and Brutus. And I knew things would change when I had kids so I wanted to do something that would always remind me of them cause they are the greatest dogs ever.
