Elias is a NYC based designer, working from dress design to streetwear. Spending the last six years in the fashion industry, they have continued to explore design, with recent a focus on sustainable sourcing. In Summer of 2025, Elias released their first collection, “Nightcrawler,” under their label “Coat Checks.”
The collection features a range of dresses and separates that use many techniques. These include hand dying/painting fabric, upcycling and ethical fabric sourcing to create a unique street to club collection highlighting the many themes one might experience at a Brooklyn warehouse party.
Elias hopes to share their excitement for the collection here, and build on a creative community that values hand-made items, craftsmanship and quality.
