Contraptify 3D started solving small real-world problems - things that didn't have good off-the-shelf solution or didn't quite fit the way they should.
With a background in multi-axis CNC machine programming, and additive manufacturing and designing in the aerospace industry, I've always focused on precision, fitment, and functionality in my work. That same mindset carries over into every design I create, and more importantly, how it's made.
Most projects begin with a problem: something broken, inefficient, or just not designed well for its purpose. From there, I'll take the idea and design a solution either from scratch in CAD or using reverse-engineering off existing parts, review it with the customer, and move onto producing the part once I get approval.
If you've got something that needs improvement, or you're building something greater that needs something extra, I'm always open to take a look and contribute to making your idea become reality.
