I am a full time employee, husband, & father of 2 very young boys. Now, I'm a beginner woodworker with a desire to learn! I started a couple years ago when I found a DIY site, mainly building small and inexpensive items. I really got into DIY home "customization." I started finding everything to do to our home like board & batten, cabinet trim, etc. When I built my first piece, I was bitten by the bug. I didn't swat that bug, no matter how annoyed I got! In fact, I went searching for more bugs. I learned from anything I could; YouTube, websites, and....well, I'd love to say books, but I just get bored reading.
I started my tool box with just hand held power tools & scrap wood from pallets/crates at work. My in-laws gifted my first major upgrade; a Miter Saw! It was the greatest thing ever, until my in-laws gifted me a table saw! Now that is my favorite tool. It's so versatile. Anyway, I moved from scrap wood to the big box store wood. Heck, I didn't know there was anything else at the time.
I'm now learning about all the different species & qualities of wood. I'm learning about the different hardness, growth rings, joints, etc. There's just so much, it can be overwhelming, but I dive in with a smile!
I desire to learn, so please let me know any tips or tricks you have. Tell me places to shop (Woodcraft, my new favorite!) or tools to buy. I'll even take criticism. All my pieces are hand made using my own standard power tools. I put a lot of passion into each piece. Every piece teaches me something more. I crave learning & growing in this industry & look forward to helping you in anyway I can.
I'm a trustworthy, rational person. If you're not happy, give me the chance to make you happy. What is wrong with what you see, or what you bought? What will make it better? How can I please you?
I do take custom requests, within my abilities. If I can't do it, I will let you know. I will do my best to make you happy. I did engrave an Orca (Killer Whale) on a stand for my wife & used polyurethane instead of lacquer. So, I can take orders, just ask! I'll reply as quickly as I can.
Thank you so much for visiting & giving me your business, expertise, & criticism!

5 out of 5 starsI couldn’t be more pleased with my phone stand. This phone stand is very light weight and very smooth. It goes well with trendy decor and it’s very unique. Finally I have a phone stand that I’m proud to display. Thank you.
