FROM BEING A MOTHER STUCK IN A JOB TO A BAG ENTREPRENEUR
I was born in Prague, the Czech Republic, and came to Nuremberg, Germany in 2005 to live with my then partner. I moved to Germany because of him, took my children with me and I left well paid job as non food buyer.
The first years were hard because my kids didn't speak the language and my German was also not great, we had to study every day a lot to go through. I was at home and taught my kids German and helped them with their homeworks. Because I couldn't work in Germany until 2011 because new EU citizens didn't have a permission to work in Germany so I got a house wife instead of a well paid buyer job and corporate carrier.
In this "Germany" time I was riding a bike almost every day to the downtown of Nuremberg and I was realizing I have no nice backpack when I meet my friends. Everytime I have used a hiking backpack that was not very chic or trendy. I was looking for bags in many shops in Europe but I couldn't find any beautiful and colorful backpack that I would like so I was starting to think I will make my own backpack one time but I had no urgency... Until one day ...
In 2012 I started a new job as a buyer in a German company. I was working there till Juni 2014 but in May everything changed when I received a message from my boss, the company went bankrupt and all people have to leave the company next month.
It was a shock for me, I was expecting a support from my man but instead to get a support from him I got another shock from his side, when he told me he has another woman, he wants to leave me and I had to go out from our appartment. This all happened during one month and suddenly I was staying alone with two kids in a foreign country without any job, without any roof over my head.
I had to decide very quickly what to do in my life. My youngest son had to study one more year at a high school in Nuremberg... so I decided to stay with him in Germany but I couldn't find a job... because I was almost 50 and a foreigner without a German school. A job center In Nuremberg wanted to send me back to school for two years to study a trade even I studied an economy school in Prague. But I had no time to go to school, I had to work!
After all these experiences I thought maybe it's a sign of Universe to start finally the production of my dreamed bags, to make finally happen I was dreaming about for many years.
So I designed my first backpack in winter 2015, I found all best supplier in Italy, Germany and the Czech Rep., then I sewed my first backpack and the bag looked so gorgeous, I was so happy that I decided to start sewing bags proffesionally and I took all my saved money and I founded my own company with bags on July 1st in 2015.
In this year has started my incredible journey with bags.
On my way I have met lots of celebrities, wonderful women and great people. My first backpack ordered the American author Kim Kiyosaki, she was so happy with my bag that she ordered the second one, one of my bags took Charlie Sheen for his girlfriend during my interview with him in Los Angeles in November 2017 and I started to travel with my bags.
I am always designing all my products and I am travelling the world to show women how can be their life easier with my comfortable bags and also to teach them to be independent...to avoid problems I was in few years ago.
I am speaking on stages around the world to inspire women and also to show my bags.
Since 2015 I already have a bigger team that is very skilled that loves sewing beautiful bags und that helps me with my dream to make women happy!
My company and my journey through an amoung of problems are also futured in Global Woman Magazine (2015) and Business Booster Today (2018)
