ABOUT OUR DECALS

We have over 45 beautiful colors to choose from. Our wall decals are made in the USA with the highest quality, matte-finish vinyl, manufactured specifically for home and party decor. Your decal will look hand painted once applied.

Our decals will adhere to *most* any smooth/hard surface including walls, windows, mirrors, wood, plexiglass, coroplast, poster board, foam board, and more! The decals will adhere to *most* slightly textured walls. Our wall decals can be easily removed without damage to your surface or paint and will not leave any adhesive residue. While the decals are removable, they are not re-usable.

We do NOT advise using vinyl on the following:
-Fabric of any kind
-Medium to heavily textured walls
-High gloss paint/Glaze
-Some of the Low/No-VOC paints
-Paneling or brick
-Some paint/primers in one

Please make sure your shipping address is current and up to date before placing your order. We are not responsible for packages returned due to incorrect shipping addresses that come through with your order. Once your decal has been returned to us because of an incorrect address, we will create a custom listing for you to purchase which will cover the cost to re-ship the order. We are not responsible for this fee and will not re-ship the order without this fee being paid.

We offer FREE Ground Advantage Shipping in the USA for most of our products, with the option to upgrade to Priority & UPS Shipping at checkout! The current estimated shipping times via USPS and UPS are...
USPS Ground Advantage: 4-9 business days
USPS Priority: 3-5 days
UPS 2 Business Days: will take 3 business days because pick-up of packages are in the late afternoon.
UPS 3 Business Days: will take 4 business days because pick-up of packages are in the late afternoon.
UPS Ground: 4-5 business days

Remember, these are ESTIMATES. We are not responsible for shipping delays. If your decal arrives later than the expected arrival date shown at checkout, please let us know and we will send you information to submit a claim for a full refund through the Etsy Customer Protection Program.

We also currently offer first class shipping to Canada which is estimated to take 2 weeks for delivery. Again, this is an estimate.

CUSTOMS FEES: We are obligated to mark all items as merchandise. International shipments may be charged import fees/handling fees. The shipping charge paid to Stone Creek Wall Decals ONLY covers my actual cost to ship the package to your country. CUSTOMERS are responsible for ALL additional import, customs and handing fees assessed by their country and are advised to research the costs prior to shipment/Purchase.

DAMAGED PACKAGES, ETC.

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. Check for spelling, dates, and to ensure no damage was made by the postal service while in transit. If you proceed and apply the decal, it is too late to make damage claims with the postal service, so it is important that you report any possible damage BEFORE using the decal. (Please send close up photos of item AND packaging in cases of damage by the USPS). We cannot make a claim without them.

If we make a mistake on your order (spelling, color, etc) contact us (with photo) and we will correct the mistake right away. We cannot be responsible when you provide incorrect info (spelling, monogram order), incorrect shipping address or mishandle/make errors when applying your decal.

READ THIS ABOUT YOUR PAINT
------------------------
We use Oracal 631, which is the highest quality indoor removable vinyl on the market. However, this vinyl is not always compatible with some of the low/no voc and paint/primers in one. The same ingredient in these paints that repels dirt, dust, fingerprints, and stains can also repel/resist the vinyl graphics. If you want to be certain vinyl decals will adhere to your walls/surface, please request a free test decal BEFORE ordering. Please convo us with name and mailing address to request.

With that said, there is GREAT news! As paint manufacturers have changed the chemistry of their paints to lower levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), the ability to adhere decals to newer paints has changed dramatically. But don’t despair. The manufacture of Oracal vinyl (which is what we offer in our shop), have analyzed this problem and developed a solution that is remarkably simple, inexpensive and highly effective. The key is in how the surface is prepared, and then taking just a few more minutes to test the adhesion of the decal you plan to use. Here’s their best practice for ensuring that you can easily and successfully adhere almost any wall decal to nearly any painted wall.

Steps to prepare surface:
1. Prepare a cleaning solution with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol and 30% water (essentially rubbing alcohol) in a spray bottle.
2. Soak a clean, lint-free cloth with the cleaning solution until it is dripping wet.
3. Clean the area you with to apply the decal thoroughly.
4. Thoroughly soak another clean, lint-free cloth with the cleaning solution and wash the wall again. Researchers have found that cleaning the wall TWICE can significantly boost adhesion for nearly any wall decal applied to a painted surface.
5. Touch the wall immediately. It will feel cooler to the touch than an unwashed area, due to the alcohol in the cleaning solution. When it no longer feels cool, it is dry and you can proceed with the decal adhesion test, or, if you are ready, with the decal installation
