For the love of all things miniature
Desde que tengo memoria, las miniaturas me han intrigado y fascinado. Me paraba frente a las vitrinas de la juguetería mirándolas cuando era niño. También coleccioné artículos en miniatura como lápices, cajas, etc. Supongo que lo heredé de mi papá. Solía construir modelos de coches y construyó una estación de tren en miniatura completa cuando mis hermanos y yo éramos pequeños.
Construí mi primera casa de muñecas cuando tenía veintitantos años. Trabajé en ello todas las noches después del trabajo. La mayoría de mis proyectos en miniatura han sido para mi propio disfrute. También he regalado algunas de mis creaciones.
Mi marido y yo somos creadores. Tengo experiencia en arte y he trabajado en marketing y desarrollo de productos durante mi carrera. Mi esposo es músico y tornero y me ha ayudado con algunos elementos para mi proyecto actual. Hizo a mano una hermosa mesa pedestal en miniatura de madera de nogal para mi espacio comercial en miniatura. ¡Estoy enamorado de eso!
Disfruto mucho creando miniaturas y lo encuentro muy relajante. Gracias por leer un poco sobre mí. Espero tener el placer de conocer a algunos de ustedes en el futuro.

For as long as I can remember, I have been intrigued and fascinated by miniatures. I would stand in front of the glass cabinets at the toy store staring at them when I was a child. I also collected miniature items like pencils, boxes, etc. I guess I get it from my Dad. He used to build model cars and built an entire miniature train station when my siblings and I were little people.
I built my first dollhouse in my late twenties. I worked on it every evening after work. Most of my miniature projects have been for my own enjoyment. I have also gifted a few of my creations.
My husband and I are makers. I have an art background and have worked in marketing and some product development during my career. My husband is a musician and wood turner and has helped me with a few items for my current project. He hand turned a beautiful miniature pedestal table from walnut wood for my miniature retail space. I am smitten with it!
I really enjoy creating miniatures and find it very relaxing. Thank you for reading a little about me. I hope to have the pleasure of meeting some of you in the future.
