This walnut bed is beautiful and has many details that make it a cut above. The wood itself is gorgeous and the styling is pleasantly conservative. It blended surprisingly well with my mid-century modern walnut chest of drawers. The upward slats allow for no center support and the height off the floor is great for me; I just slide off onto the floor. The slight overlap of the side boards allows for stability of the mattress as well as hiding any blousing of fitted sheets. Everything about the design is super thoughtful as well as functional. The delivery service is exemplary; the young man delivered and assembled the bed in under an hour and was quite pleasant; I encourage generous tipping for such personal service. Communication with the vendor was ongoing and informative. Highly recommended!!
