Childhood Crafter , Software Engineer to Mom Crafter
"What matters in life, is not great deeds, but great love" (The Little Flower, Saint Therese of Lisieux)
I am a wife, a mom blessed with a loving family. As a professional I am a Software Engineer. I love to code. But my love for arts and crafts began in my childhood. Handmade doll dresses were my first creations. I was about 6 years when I started sewing with my grandmother’s old Singer sewing machine. I was inspired by my mom, my aunts and my great cousin who was remarkable with sewing (She still is). I loved watching handcraft programs and trying them out. Whenever I saw a new design or a craft item, I felt like I want to make it, I want to learn how to make it. I did most of the time. In my teenage years most of my cloths were made by me and I was so proud of it.
My love for handmade creations grew from dresses to many other areas. I learned to crochet, soap crafts, fabric painting were some of those. I spent hours working on them. It was such a great pleasure wearing something you made all by yourself. I was blessed with a great supporter for my life who encouraged me and helped.
After I became a mom my interest changed to making cloths for my princess. Migrating from my mother land to a strange world made me a stay at home mom. I chose to do more handcrafts in my spare time and to keep me occupied. It gave me the opportunity to realize that God have granted so many talents and should make use of it. "Indi's Collection" is a result of wanting to bring my talents to the world.
Everything in my collection is made with extra care and especially for those who love handcrafts. I take extra time to produce a quality product. I don’t make hundred items from one product. I want things to be unique as much as possible, so the no’s are limited. I like to customize the designs the way you like, cause you’re unique.
