I started with a medieval coat a long time ago, just to please my best friend and now - almost 10 years later - I am downright infected by historical fashion. My focus is on the 18th century and Regency fashion, but of course that doesn't keep me away from other eras.
In my shop I want to sell things that other people enjoy and that don't have the opportunity to sew something themselves. I am not a trained seamstress, but through a lot of work, specialist reading and diligence (or sweat?) I have taught myself historical sewing techniques. I believe that everyone can and should wear historical fashion - you just have to start with it!
My articles are either machine-sewn or hand-sewn (I write it with every article!) And there is definitely a lot of love in them! I always try to find a way to customize clothes, because after all, every body is unique and historical clothing should fit perfectly so that you feel comfortable in it!

My articles are based on originals of the respective time and are made accordingly. I invest a lot of time in studies and research. The pieces are made so that you can wear them for all events. All layers are necessary to achieve the desired silhouette at the time. (From underskirt to lace-up chest / corset to appropriate pads) The pieces are sewn in such a way that they are worn on these layers, so there may be deviations / fitting problems (especially with the upper body) if a modern bra is pulled underneath.

The article I ordered does not fit. What can I do?
In any case, contact me immediately and describe your problem (ideally with photos). Then we can find a solution together. Of course, I really want the piece you bought to be fun and to be able to wear!
Can I wash my item in the washing machine?
Yes - unless stated otherwise by me. My recommendation is 30 ° C washes, which is sufficient for cleaning, provided there are no major stains on the respective item.
Are the clothes pre-washed?
Yes - I pre-wash them so that the fabric shrinks as little as possible. Nevertheless, the second wash can still lead to slight losses, but these are so minimal that you will not notice them.
