Jewellery Allergy Disclaimer
Although extremely rare, some people are allergic to the metals and finishes commonly used in making jewellery. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of any allergies he or she has to metals before making a purchase.
The pieces made by Sanguine Rose Designs are made mainly from stainless steel and zinc alloy, but can also be copper or brass. Stainless steel can contain up to 12% nickel which meets EU directives. Whilst most people don't react to this hard wearing metal, it can still cause a reaction for some people with a high sensitivity nickel allergy.
Sanguine Rose Designs is not responsible for any discomfort or allergic reactions that may occur as a result of wearing our jewellery.
Care instructions
Jewellery should be carefully stored. Care should be taken to protect it from knocks, chemicals, extreme temperatures & sunlight. Costume jewellery is fragile but when treated with respect will look fabulous and last for many years.
Do not wear jewellery when in the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna/steam room or while bathing or showering. Chlorine, detergents, oils & perfumes can all cause tarnishing & damage.
Always put jewellery on last as a finishing touch after getting ready. Make-up, perfume & hairspray all contain chemicals which may dull the finish of jewellery.
Jewellery is delicate & can easily snag on clothing & hair, careful placement & removal is advisable.
Jewellery Components
We use stainless steel chain unless otherwise stated.
Where semi precious stones are used, please be aware these can vary from stone to stone due to their natural state & so exact replicas of those shown in our listing photos is not guaranteed.
On occasion, the style of chain which we use may vary slightly in style to that shown.
Sizing
We offer a range of different sizes, however, if your size isn't listed, then please contact us.
If, when you receive your item, you find that you have ordered the wrong size, we will happily exchange for a smaller or larger item. However, we will not be responsible for the postage cost in returning that item to us nor the re-delivery fee in sending you the smaller/larger item. On receipt of the returned item for exchange, we will invoice you for the re-delivery postage fee, i.e. £1.45 for the UK, £3.50 for Europe, £4.50 for the USA and Australia.
Gift wrapping and packaging
All items are sent in a black & white striped paper bag within either a bubble lined envelope or postal box.
We try our best to keep our packaging to the bare minimum and as such, do not include any paperwork with your item. If you would prefer to receive a printed invoice, then please message us and we will provide the same.
Although we can attach a gift message to your item, we do not offer a gift wrap service.
Hours of Business
Please note that our Etsy shop business hours are:
Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm GMT.
Messages received after 6pm on a Friday, will be responded to on the following Monday unless a bank holiday.
