The irresistible urge to create!
Hey!
So my background is in science but I could never resist using my creative side. I started out making gifts for friends and family from my childhood and seeing the look on their faces always bought me so much happiness! For as long as I can remember I have used my hands to craft, paint, stencil, mould, bake and sew. I have vivid memories of drooling over catalogues asking my mum for crayons, paper, felt tips and anything else that would help me create as a child (my parents did get all of them for me too!).
My store on Etsy was launched just after my wedding in December 2017, and since then life has changed. I am now a mum of 2 under 2 - yes it keeps me busy! My store and products have changed over the years and I am now focusing on my love of hair accessories. If you order anything and it doesn't fit you perfectly I am more than happy to adjust it to you for free, just drop me a message and we will get it sorted!
My business has taken me to numerous craft fairs and big events such as The Handmade Affair at Hampton Court Palace. I do still love craft fairs so keep an eye out for my announcements and follow me on Insta @sewgg_store to see where I will pop up next - it would be lovely to meet you!
