My name is Xenia and I am a designer from Slovakia. I have a large family of three kids and many pets, so I am in a permanent state of commotion and noise…a lot of commotion and noise! My jewellery is the product of my art-meditation when I am left in the solitude of my studio. I love playing with bright and clear colours, as well as mixing different textures. In a similar way, I am infinitely inspired by nature, by its ingenuity, diversity of colours and its versatility.
My journey as an artist started with the photography of a variety of incredibly beautiful elements of nature. I would take close-up shots of different flowers and plants, which then evolved into making jewellery from these pictures. I went on to broaden my variety of work as I discovered new techniques and working materials.
My work that I bring into this world and present to you, is the direct product of the joy I experience from exploring colours and textures. It is the wisp of wind, a drifting wild-cherry leaf, it is the depth inside the crystal rock and a vivid play of spectral colours of an agate, it is metal and it is wool, and all the unusual shapes – it is my singing soul.
I would like to invite and share with you the results of my journey and craftsmanship. Welcome to my store, I sincerely hope you will enjoy it!
