Vintage Art books Galore!
The idea for San Marco's Library began in my university days...
One of my favourite spots to study at my university campus was in a small room on the top floor of the library. It was packed with oversized art books that couldn't fit on the regular library shelves. Instead of studying, I would flip through these massive books and admire their quality. Throughout my four years of studying art history, I collected my own personal treasury of art books.
Years after graduating, I started to locally sell books from my personal collection. I noticed that every book seemingly had a potential match depending on the interests of the person. Some books would be gone within a day and other months, but they would eventually find their match. I connected with a lot of people by selling—learning about their backgrounds, interests, etc. It makes me happy to help others unite with a long searched for book or just simply a book they recently decided to read.
Of course with my art history background, I especially love to sell art books. Any inquiries I get about whether I have books about a particular artist or period or region, it only takes me just a few seconds to locate these books in my mind. Now I want to connect with wider scope of art book lovers by selling online on Etsy.
Admittingly, it pains me to dismantle my once great treasury of art books, but I'm young and it's time for me to see these works of art rather than keep them in my room.
I hope you will find your match in my shop and treasure these books as I have.
