What happens if my parcel is damaged when I receive it?
We take care when packaging our items, bubble wrapping and padding our items individually, and using strong, well taped boxes. On the rare occasion that a parcel is damaged in transit, the customer should provide photographic evidence of the damage as soon as it is received. It is up to Welds and Wood to determine whether the damage is worthy of a replacement, or a full or partial refund.
Custom and personalised orders
We do make custom sizes for certain items in our range. Please contact us if you require a particular size and we will do our best to help you out.
Care instructions
All of our steel powder coated products are very durable and are able to withstand water to a certain degree. These products however are not intended to be used outside in the rain, but are fine under cover.
If your stand is scuffed or chipped, you can touch up the item with an oil based spray paint that matches the colour.
Timber items are finished with a durable oil. If this becomes scratched or damaged, you can use and fine sand paper (#600 grit) to rub down the defect and apply a light coat of boiled linseed oil to correct the defect.
Customs and Taxes
• Shipments outside Australia may be subject to additional duties, tariffs, value added tax (VAT), Brokerage Fees, etc. (unless otherwise noted)
• These fees are responsibility of the buyer.
• These fees are not included in our shipping charges or purchase price at checkout.
• These fees are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
• Contact your country's local Customs office for more information.
• We do not mark items as "gifts"
Delivery and Late Packages
We suggest you have your package shipped to a safe location where a person will be present to accept the package during daytime hours.
If for any reason your package gets delayed, please contact the shipping carrier directly (Fedex, DHL, USPS, UPS, etc). Once we have handed your package over to the shipping carrier to be sent via the requested service, the package is in their possession and they are responsible for it's safe and timely delivery.
If your tracking information states 'Delivered', but you have not yet received your package you should:
* Verify the shipping address you provided at checkout was correct.
* Check your door or mailbox and look for a notice left of attempted delivery.
* Contact your local post office

Sizing details
All sizes shown on the website are approximates only and can vary from time to time depending on stock availability. We try our very best to make our products as close to the specified size however.
Tracking your order shipment
It is up to the customer to track the delivery of an order. We will email / message via Etsy you when your order is shipped and will provide you with tracking details. Please check your email inbox (or spam box) to check for an email from our courier Sendle - www.sendle.com
From there it is up to you to track your delivery.
Package has not been delivered - reshipped back to Welds and Wood
If your package has not been delivered on time, there is a chance you could have missed a delivery attempt to your premise. Postal service providers have been known to not leave a note, and can sometimes end up with a package returning to the nearest postal depot.
It is the responsibility of the customer to track the item, and arrange reschedule of the delivery or arrange collection.
Packages that have been left for too long at a local postal depot will eventually be shipped back to Welds and Wood. If this happens, the customer will need to pay a separate shipping charge (amount changes per location) if they would like the package redelivered. The customer must pay this amount in full prior to redelivery.
