The end result is a pair of beautiful bird creations which arrived promptly and well wrapped. I am so pleased with my purchases and highly recommend WoodYouCreate Studios. This puffin one was a special request as well.

How does this work?
Design your item for free at youcreate.uk — choose your product, personalise it with a name or word, add decorations, and pick your finish. When you're happy, you'll get a unique design code. Come back here, choose the matching size listing, and enter your code in the personalisation box at checkout. We'll match your design to your order and start making.
Is designing really free?
Completely. Design as many versions as you like — you only pay when you order through this shop. You must supply the unique code provided at the end of the design process to match with the Etsy order.
What makes your designs "laser-safe"?
Every design you build in the YouCreate® wizard is checked automatically as you go — no floating pieces, no features too thin to survive cutting, every letter and decoration properly connected. If a design wouldn't hold up in the workshop, the wizard won't let you order it.
If something does get through the safety checks we reserve the right to strengthen the design before cutting.
What wood do you use?
Premium birch plywood, hand-stained in your choice of finish — from light natural oak to a rich dark walnut.
Ornament frames are 3.6mm; name shelf sitters are laminated from three layers for a substantial 16.5mm freestanding piece.
How long will my order take?
Each piece is made to order. Production is typically 5–7 working days, then shipped via Royal Mail (1–3 working days UK, 5–14 working days international). Please allow extra time in November/December.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide via Royal Mail International. Any import duties or taxes are the recipient's responsibility.
Can I return my order?
Because every piece is personalised and made to order, we can't accept returns for change of mind — please double-check spelling before submitting your design. If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days with a photo and we'll put it right.
I have my own laser cutter — can I license your designs?
Our design tool and decorations are built for end customers ordering finished pieces through this shop. We're exploring a dedicated offering for makers in future — message us if that's something you'd want, and we'll keep you posted.
