All functional pieces are food safe.

Teapots should be cleaned carefully due to delicate details. They can hold hot liquid, but are not made to be used against direct heat sources - not made for stove top or cook top use.

Cups and mugs should be hand washed and cared for like fine dinnerware. Any pieces with gold luster or encased pieces (mugs with shells, crystals and leaves) are not microwave safe. Encased pieces can withstand your favorite hot drink, but does not like the extreme cold.

Planters are washable by hand, be aware felt on the bottom of the planters may come off if allowed to get too wet.

Be aware that sculptural items can be placed outside, but in extreme conditions if allowed to take on water and freeze will break.
