Nuestra historia, que es en realidad el comienzo de la historia de Cuddlecation, se basa en el amor y la conexión. Nos consideramos “campeones internacionales de los abrazos” y a menudo disfrutamos hablando de abrazos porque es una de nuestras formas favoritas de conectarnos (y no es por presumir, ¡somos realmente buenos en eso!). Una tarde soleada, mientras caminábamos de la mano por la playa, bromeábamos sobre nuestro autoproclamado título de campeones de los abrazos, cuando ocurrió uno de esos momentos de fulgor. Paul me miró y supo al instante que acababa de recibir una idea. Lo decimos así porque sabemos que somos un equipo cocreativo con nuestra Fuente Divina. En ese momento, como ahora, sentimos con fuerza que fuimos bendecidos con este concepto porque es parte de nuestra responsabilidad llevarlo al mundo. Le dije a Paul: “¿Sabes que la gente dice staycation en lugar de vacaciones? Bueno, ¿por qué no estamos hablando de Cuddlecations?”. Y allí mismo, en la playa, nació Cuddlecation.
Creemos que muchos negocios en el mundo que se centran en el amor, en realidad se centran más en el sexo que en una conexión sincera. Eso tiene que cambiar. Our story, which is really the beginning of the Cuddlecation story, is one founded in love and connection. Considering ourselves “international cuddle champions”, we often enjoy talking about cuddling because it’s one of our favorite ways to connect – and not to brag, we’re really good at it! One sunny afternoon while walking hand-in-hand on the beach, we were joking around about our self-proclaimed title of cuddle champions, when one of those lightning bolt moments happened. Paul looked at me and instantly knew I’d just received an idea. We say it this way, because we know that we are a co-creative team with our Divine Source. We felt strongly then as we do now, that we were blessed with this concept because it is part of our responsibility to bring it to the world. I said to Paul – “you know how people say staycation instead of vacation? Well, why aren’t we talking about Cuddlecations?!” And right there, on the beach, Cuddlecation was born.
We feel that many of the businesses out there in the world that are about love, are really more about sex, instead of genuine heart-to-heart connection. That needs to change. The world needs connection – not just with each other – but with ourselves, more than ever before. So Cuddlecation stretches beyond the realm of cutesy and cuddly, it goes deeper than that. It’s about promoting love, connection, and positivity and spreading those feelings as far and wide as possible.
