Siendo una madre que se queda en casa de 4 grandes niños, siempre estoy tratando de encontrar formas de ahorrar dinero. He hecho mucha ropa y juguetes de mis hijos para ahorrar dinero. Justo después de que naciera mi tercer hijo, comencé a vender bolsas de pañales y vestidos y todo tipo de cosas para bebés y madres. Fue una gran manera para mí de perfeccionar mi costura y ganar un poco de dinero. A medida que crecían, era cada vez más difícil encontrar el tiempo para coser cosas en ese nivel. Cuando mi hija consiguió su primera muñeca de 18 pulgadas, me pidió que le hiciera la ropa para la muñeca. Fue entonces cuando tuve la idea de empezar a vender patrones. Puedo tejer en el sofá o en nuestra sala de la escuela y no estar lejos de mis hijos. ¡Me encanta tejer! Me encanta crear en general, pero tejer es como la meditación para mí. Tejo lo que necesito y lo que quiero poseer. Tengo una gran sensación de alegría al saber que estoy enseñando a mis hijos a trabajar duro y a aprender todo lo que puedan.

Being a stay at home mom to 4 great kids, I am always trying to find ways to save money. I have made a lot of my children's clothes and toys to save money. Right after my third child was born I started selling diaper bags and dresses and all sorts of things for babies and moms. It was a great way for me to perfect my sewing and make a little bit of money. As they got older, it was harder and harder to find the time to sew things on that level. When my daughter got her first 18 inch doll, she asked me to make her clothes for the doll. That is when I had the idea to start selling patterns. I can knit on the couch or in our school room and not be away from my kids. I love knitting! I love creating in general, but knitting is like meditation to me. I knit what I need and what I want to own. I get a great sense of joy knowing that I am teaching my children to work hard and to learn all they can.
