Are your sewing patterns for personal or commercial use?
All my digital sewing patterns are for personal use only. You are welcome to sew as many items as you like for yourself, as gifts, or for charity.
I bought the pattern. Can I sell the finished items I make from it?
You are welcome to sell a limited number of handmade items you create from my patterns, but you must contact me first to let me know. This allows me to keep track and provide any specific terms. This permission is not granted for large-scale mass production.
What is your copyright policy?
All elements of my patterns and shop are protected by copyright law. This includes, but is not limited to:
- The sewing pattern (the PDF file, digital content, and design itself).
- All instructional text and written guides.
- All photographs and product images.
- All graphic elements, illustrations, and logos.
It is strictly prohibited to distribute, share, copy, resell, reverse engineer, reupload, or modify my patterns or any of their components. Copyright infringement is taken very seriously and will be pursued.
How do I download my digital pattern after purchasing?
Etsy will make your files available immediately after your payment is confirmed. Here’s how to access them:
1. On a Computer: Log into your Etsy account, go to "You" (top right) > "Purchases and reviews." Find the order and click "Download Files." This will save the files to your computer.
2. On a Mobile Browser: Log into your Etsy account through a web browser (like Chrome or Safari), go to your account menu, and select "Purchases." Find the order and tap the download button. Please note: The Etsy app can sometimes have issues downloading files, so using a mobile browser is more reliable.
3. Check Your Email: Etsy will also send a confirmation email with a direct download link.
The link expired/I lost my files. Can you send them to me?
Of course! Your purchase grants you lifetime access to the files. You can always re-download them from your Etsy "Purchases" section. If you have any trouble, please contact me with your order number and I will be happy to assist you.
What size should I buy?
All sizes listed in the product photos and description are included in a single purchase. I highly recommend checking the specific size chart provided in each pattern's listing photos. Compare your body measurements (bust, waist, hip) to the chart, not your ready-to-wear size, to select the best size for you. If you are between sizes, I usually recommend sizing up.
Do your patterns include seam allowance?
Yes! All my patterns include a 0.4 inch (1 cm) seam allowance unless otherwise stated. This is clearly noted on the pattern pieces and in the instructions.
I'm new to sewing. Are your patterns beginner-friendly?
Yes, the majority of my patterns are designed to be beginner-friendly. They include detailed step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process smoothly. The difficulty level is also indicated in each listing.
Can I request a custom order or a pattern alteration?
Yes, I accept custom orders! Please contact me via Etsy Messages to discuss your idea, and I'll let you know if it's something I can do.
